This year during winter, we had partnered with MP Cricket Academy to allow children aged 5-9 to play for free with them at Lord Williams Lower school indoor sports hall for our winter indoor cricket course. This was a huge success as we have received so many wonderful requests to be able to join and play. This wouldn’t be at all possible without all of your help and support, so therefore this year we are planning to extend this to the main season to give children from 5-9 even more opportunities to play and improve. Irrespective of their financial circumstances (the free coaching for 5–9-year-olds does not extend to Holiday Courses which will remain a paid service). The membership section of the website lists more information about the coaching and membership benefits. Unfortunately, this does mean players older than 9 years old will still have to pay to play this year, however we will not be increasing the cost of Membership this year.
For your convenience, here are the dates and times for the Academy Team Training starting in late April:
Summer Cricket will start from Friday 25th April until Friday the 18th of July
Wednesdays 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm for 14+ to Adults training
Fridays 5:15 – 6:30pm for U9s training (School Year 1-4)
Fridays 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm for ages 10-14 training (School year 5-8)
You must be a member to be able to come to these sessions and we are only taking limited numbers, therefore please book early before we close the booking.
